What clothing to take to Maldives for a holiday please?

Depends whether you're going to a very upmarket place or a more relaxed island. We've just come back and no-one wore dresses (but I knew it was relaxed before I went because I asked someone who'd been there on Trip Advisor). I took 3/4 length trousers and some nice tops - and I was a bit dressy! I took a couple of skirts but didn't wear them.

as far as im concerned, Maldives is warm year round, with mild monsoons during may to october. but its not something like katrina. no need to be afraid tho.



You can bring along baby tee's or shorts, if those make you feel more comfortable to move around than jeans.



i especially like this outfit, so street-smart and looks great on travellers. :)
