maldives which is better for sea and sand beaches north or south atolls?

I totaly agree with RD although all of the resorts have some pretty awsome beaches, the far away islands will have less traffic [boats and planes] and hopefully nill polution [plastic bottles etc] which can be a problem when close to the capitol. I am a sucker for the South Ari Atoll myself.

The further away you are from Male, the more peaceful the islands and the better the diving.....though the North Atolls are the ones that have more resorts

North I went there a couple of weeks ago and stayed in the kuredu resort and spa it was lovely the holiday of a life time!!
