When Is the Best Time to Visit the Maldives?

My wife and my self-planning to visit Maldives soon? So appreciate if you could advice best time to visit there, we prefer sunny

The Maldives tend to have warm temperatures year round with loads of sunshine.

There's relatively minor variations in daily temperature throughout the year but the hottest month on average is April and the coolest is December. The weather is largely affected by the monsoons.

February is the driest month but January to April are also relatively dry. May and October have the highest average monthly rainfall. The southwest monsoon is normally from May to September so it can be quite wet then.

I'd recommend going sometime between February to April for a sunny and non-rainy holiday.

There are two visiting season. Peak Tourist Season, which is December, January, so choose an intimate small island. Hot weather and good diving, and temperature can be in excess of 35 C.

February is great time to travel with good weather pattern and fewer tourist. Also good time for diving.

March is good time to travel with pleasant temperatures with good diving.

April is good all year round with pleasant weather conditions and great diving. Visibility up to 50 Meters. In May the visibility reduces to 20 meters and availablity of whale and shark are frequent.

June, July, August, September, October and November not recommended.
